Cool Whip Easter Eggs

RECIPE
Cool Whip Easter Eggs

Ready in 15 mins

Serves 2-4 little people

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Boil the eggs and allow them to cool.
  2. Soak the egg.  Fill a large bowl with the vinegar and soak the egg in the vinegar for at least 10-15  mins.
  3. Set up your sensory table. Spread the cool whip into your bin.
  4. Add coloring, and use a toothpick to swirl.
  5. Add the eggs, and roll them around in the color of your choice; the longer it sits, the more vibrant they will become.
  6.  Remove the egg, and plunge it into a bowl of cold water. Using a paper towel wipe off any excess cool whip.

Tips

You can skip the vinegar soak but the colors will be less vibrant.

Whip cream or shaving cream are other alternatives you can use.  But remember, Cool Whip and Whip Cream are food safe, eggs are porous, and you want whatever you dye the egg to be safe to consume.
