Real Play Kids is a small family-operated business. Founded in 2019 we craft high-quality children's play furniture. Our products are designed to inspire open-ended & imaginative play. All products are designed and crafted by us in Austin, Texas.

As a lifelong maker with over 25 years of woodworking experience, I just naturally started making things for my first daughter. Wanting high quality, Montessori inspired products to inspire her imagination and confidence. I designed and crafted a variety of items that helped her grow in both confidence and creativity. From the Toddler Tower that let her start cooking alongside us at just 12 months. The Pikler Triangle helped her confidence and tested her limits. After countless requests from friends after seeing how much these simple things helped our daughter Real Play Kids was born.

We now craft a whole line of high-quality, sustainable products that inspire children from their first year through the toddler years. From my own home and the same products, my children play with every day we deliver the same high-quality American-made quality to your home.

As a woodworker with over 25 years of experience in woodworking and furniture design. All Products are designed for easy assembly with easy-to-follow illustrated instruction sheets and assembly videos. I use easy to assemble hardware and bolts that are industry standard for flat-pack furniture and actually meant for furniture assembly. Making for high-quality easy assembly and furniture that last years. We also use the highest quality wood materials including furniture grade Birchwood sheet goods imported from Europe and the highest quality furniture grade Poplar wood grown in Tennessee. We use the highest quality, Eco-friendly, American-made, chew-safe, water-based finish on all products that have a finish coat.
