Ingredients:

• Instant snow
• Polar bear/ Penguin figurines
• Washable blue paint
• Baking pan

Preparation:

1. Freeze the water. Grab a round cake pan, and fill it with water. Then squeeze a tablespoon of washable blue paint. Stir & freeze overnight.  
2. Add the instant snow.  Pour ¼ cup of instant snow into each sensory bin. Then, add ½ cup of water and watch it fluff into snow in seconds.
3. Transfer. Finally, transfer your frozen blue water into the sensory bin.  Then add your polar bear & penguin figures. Include a few items to extend the sensory experience.
4. Invite.  Now invite your toddlers to play.

Tips

The idea is to let your child use their imagination, there is no right or wrong way to play. All sensory experiences are learning through play using fine motor skills, sensory play, and imaginative play.
